Welcome to St. Mark’s Church

  • The Grade II-listed church, which dates back to 1834 can be seen across the city.

  • We currently have challenges with our building, due to the effects of ageing and weathering.

  • We are aiming to repair and renovate St. Mark’s and to restore the building so it’s as the heart of the community once more. If you would like to know more about this project just use the contact details for the Rector at the beginning of our website, Thank you.

MAKING A DONATION

the easiest way to give is to ask you to choose one of the means of giving through the Diocese of Lichfield that will then be passed onto the church you choose: Receiving Donations Online - Diocese of Lichfield (anglican.org)

For reference, the churches may appear by their local parish names: Birches Head, St. Matthew; Cobridge, Christ Church; Hanley, St. Luke (Wellington); Northwood, Holy Trinity; Shelton, St. Mark.  The parish name for the team ministry that covers all five churches is Hanley, The Holy Evangelists, though this may not appear in all lists that are intended for specific churches.
